Important Notice: These Terms and Conditions apply to services facilitated through Leak Detection North West UK, a trading name of Stand Out Marketing Studio Limited (Company number 11745724). By contacting us or submitting an enquiry, you agree to these terms. Stand Out Marketing Studio Limited acts solely as a facilitator connecting customers with independent leak detection specialists. All service delivery, performance, and liability rest with the assigned specialist.

1. Our Facilitation Service

Leak Detection North West UK, operated by Stand Out Marketing Studio Limited (“we”, “us”, “our”), connects customers (“you”) with independent, qualified leak detection specialists (“Specialists”) registered in England and Wales. We do not provide leak detection services directly but facilitate connections based on your requirements.

When you contact us, we collect your details and match you with a suitable Specialist who will contact you directly to arrange and deliver the service under their own terms, pricing, and company registration.

Stand Out Marketing Studio Limited is not responsible for, nor liable for, any services performed by Specialists, including quality, timeliness, or outcomes.

2. Types of Services Facilitated

Through our network, we can connect you with Specialists offering the following leak detection services:

Pipework – Domestic and commercial pipe leak detection
Trace and Access – Locating hidden leaks for insurance claims
Plumbing – Surface and internal plumbing investigations
Structural (Including roofs) – Roof and building envelope leak detection
Drainage Survey – CCTV drain inspections
Swimming Pool – Pool structure and filtration leak detection
Central Heating Types – Radiator and heating system leaks
Underfloor – Underfloor heating system investigations
Underground – External and buried pipework
Domestic – Residential properties
Commercial – Business and industrial premises

Specialists determine the appropriate service type based on your description. If unsure, they may recommend initial assessments or multiple visits, which may incur additional charges.

We do not guarantee service availability for all types or locations.

3. The Facilitation Process

When you contact us via phone, website, or email:

We collect basic details about your requirements and location
We match you with an available Specialist from our network
The Specialist will contact you directly within 24-48 hours to discuss your needs
All subsequent arrangements, pricing, and service delivery occur directly between you and the Specialist

Once connected, your contractual relationship is directly with the Specialist, not Stand Out Marketing Studio Limited.

4. Access and Preparation Requirements

To ensure successful service delivery, you must provide the Specialist with:

Property Access: Full access to all relevant areas, including internal rooms, loft spaces, and external areas
Multiple Properties: Access to all properties on shared water supplies or where pipework crosses boundaries
Parking: Free parking within 100m of the property for equipment offloading. Any parking charges, permits, or penalties are your responsibility
Lift Access: For properties above 2 storeys, lift access for heavy equipment is required
Preparation: Clear access to relevant areas, operational isolation valves, and systems turned on/off as instructed

If access requirements cannot be met, the Specialist may need to reschedule or cancel, and any charges will be determined by their terms.

Stand Out Marketing Studio Limited accepts no liability for access-related issues or charges.

5. Specialist Guarantees and Policies

Some Specialists may offer “No Find, No Fee” guarantees, subject to their specific terms including:

Domestic pipework only – Single leak, minimum flow rate, accessible pipework
Exclusions: Central heating, intermittent leaks, structural leaks, commercial properties, multiple bathrooms, shared supplies
Conditions: Must proceed with repair by the same Specialist if leak is found

Important: Guarantee terms vary by Specialist. “No Find, No Fee” does not apply to facilitation fees (if charged) and is void if access/preparation requirements are not met.

Investigations confirming no leak are chargeable. Issues mimicking leaks (condensation, faulty meters, ventilation problems) require different specialists.

6. Pricing and Quotes

Pricing is determined by the assigned Specialist based on:

Service type and complexity
Property size and location
Domestic vs commercial requirements
Additional materials or access challenges

All quotes are provided directly by the Specialist. Stand Out Marketing Studio Limited does not set, guarantee, or take responsibility for pricing.

7. Payment Terms

Payment arrangements are between you and the Specialist:

Securing the Service: Specialists may require card details or upfront payment
Payment Due: Typically on completion, though commercial customers may need advance payment
Accepted Methods: Card payments, BACS (no cash/cheques)
Facilitation Fee: If charged by us, payable separately per our payment terms

Unpaid Specialist invoices may incur late payment charges per the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.

We do not handle Specialist payments or refunds.

8. Cancellation Policy

Cancellation terms vary by Specialist, typically requiring:

Standard Services: 24 working hours’ notice
Swimming Pool Services: 48 working hours’ notice
Same-Day Cancellations: Fully chargeable due to reserved specialist time

Contact the Specialist directly for cancellation. We cannot process refunds or mediate disputes.

9. Multiple Parties and Coordination

When multiple parties are involved (landlords, tenants, agents, insurers), the booking party must:

Ensure all parties are informed of requirements and charges
Coordinate access for all necessary properties
Confirm the bill payer accepts responsibility

We and the Specialists accept no liability for miscommunications between parties.

10. Liability and Limitations

Critical Disclaimer: Stand Out Marketing Studio Limited’s liability is strictly limited to our facilitation service. We accept no responsibility for:

Service Quality: All performance issues rest with the Specialist
Delays or Cancellations: Specialist scheduling issues
Property Damage: Any damage during service delivery
No Leak Findings: Investigations confirming no leak are chargeable
Additional Leaks: Secondary leaks discovered during or after primary service
Equipment Failure: Specialist tools or methodology
Guarantee Claims: Any service warranties provided by Specialists

Specialists carry their own insurance. You should verify their coverage directly.

Our maximum liability is limited to the facilitation fee paid (if any), excluding indirect or consequential losses.

11. Repairs and Additional Services

Some Specialists may offer repair services following leak detection:

Subject to Availability: Same-day repairs depend on time and materials
Additional Charges: Separate quotes for access, materials, and labour
Guarantees: Typically 3 months on repairs performed (Specialist-specific)
Limitations: No guarantee on existing system weaknesses revealed during repairs

We do not coordinate, price, or guarantee repair services.

12. Data and Privacy

Your information is handled per our Privacy Policy. We share enquiry details with the assigned Specialist for service delivery only.

Call Recording: Conversations may be recorded for quality monitoring
Data Ownership: We own facilitation data; Specialists own service delivery data
GDPR Rights: Apply to us for facilitation data; contact Specialist for service data

13. Complaints Procedure

We cannot mediate between you and Specialists or enforce their service guarantees.

14. Governing Law

These terms are governed by English law. Disputes regarding our facilitation service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of English courts.

Specialist service disputes are governed by their individual terms and applicable law.
